The finals are over and the rightful order has been restored.
Justin Wong was up against Santhrax in the finals at today’s EVO 2010 MvC2 event. After working his way through the losers bracket and taking out ClockW0rk’s Strider/Sentinel/Doom team. Justin Wong would need to win two consecutive sets in the finals.
He won the first four matches in a row against last year’s winner Santhrax’s Storm/Sentinel/Captain team. Santhrax had managed to get one match up in the second and last set, but Justin Wong continued on the win the tournament; he stuck with a team consisting of Storm/Sentinel/Cyclops.
Following decade of Marvel vs. Capcom 2, EVO2K will finally drop the game from its tournament. Winner of the first and last tournaments, Justin Wong has also never lost twice at MvC2. After dropping out of the Super Street Fighter IV tournament after losing to Gamer Bee’s Adon, Justin Wong is happy to receive the first place prize in MvC2.
